Administrative staff less professional than found at any McDonald's Drive Thru. 40 minute waits on the phone just to set up appointments. Counter staff actually worse because you can watch their indifference. PPO patients treated like HMO patients - Internal Referral Review and 7 day delay.
Is this even legal?

I can't blame the staff - "A fish starts to smell from its head." Who ever is in charge of the administrative operations at UC Davis needs a wake-up call - 'cause they're obviously asleep.
Clinical Staff, just the opposite. How these two groups work in the same building amazes me.
I've spent 70 minutes on the phone so far today. And, I've been hung up on 4 times. I suspect that when the call volume gets high, they just hang up so that their average wait time is less than 30 minutes.
Just like the VA.
I'm still trying to get an appointment for a condition I've had for 10 years. Giving up for today. I still have a life - no thanks to the adm staff at UC Davis (Elk Grove).
